Sacred Waters Birthing Center 2035 West 12th Ave., Eugene, OR (541) 344-7974 A community birth center with caring midwives, offering prenatal, birth, and postpartum care at the birth center or at home, specializing in water births. Lane County Birth Network Founded in 2005, the LCBN is a free referral network in Lane County, Oregon serving the diverse needs of the childbearing community with information, empowerment, and advocacy. It offers a broad selection of local providers, from pediatricians and doulas to birth photography. In addition, for those interested in a home birth, there are a number of direct-entry midwives available in the Eugene/Springfield area. They can be found listed in the yellow pages under midwifery.
